Located in an old two-story house in Lapa, Rio de Janeiro, with a showroom in Ipanema and a recent-installed warehouse in Miami, MeMo is a gallery dedicated to Brazilian design. Its main specialties are vintage design from the 1950s to 80s, collecting incredible original pieces by the likes of Joaquim Tenreiro, Sergio Rodrigues and José Zanine Caldas, and also the freshest Brazilian contemporary design-art. Circulating among the gallery’s spaces, architects, interior designers and collectors can appreciate unique furniture and objects. By organizing reference books, debates and exhibitions, MeMo also conducts extensive work to spread Brazilian design.
