Salon 94
Since its creation in 2002 the mission of Salon 94 has grown from curating special artist projects in a non-traditional home setting, to representing emerging and established artists of many diverging practices. A vital contemporary design program has grown out of an insistence to display art alongside objects and furniture, integrating design and ceramics into a fine art context. Among others, Salon 94 represents the Estate of Carlo Mollino, Rick Owens, Martin Székely, and Betty Woodman. Salon 94 also champions young designers, and has produced early projects with Martino Gamper, Anton Alvarez, Takuro Kuwata, and Kueng Caputo. This will be Gaetano Pesce’s first major gallery project following his recent retrospective at LA MOCA.
